NewsAbout five and a half years ago, Justine Blanford was heralded in as the new professor of ITC who would revamp the masters’ programmes. She came over from Penn State University in the United States for it. Last week, she was among those who received their notice of redundancy. ‘I’m still reeling.’

Ze kwam er speciaal voor van de Penn State University in de VS naar Nederland. Afgelopen week hoorde ze dat haar functie komt te vervallen. ‘Ik ben er nog steeds beduusd van.’

NewsDe faculteit ITC kondigde woensdagmiddag een reorganisatie af. Twintig arbeidsplaatsen zullen daarbij verdwijnen. Na overheidsbezuinigingen valt een gat van grofweg 3 miljoen euro niet te dichten voor de faculteit.

This seventh edition of the 4TU Career Special is a shared publication by the news editors of Cursor (Eindhoven University of Technology), Delta (Delft University of Technology), Resource (Wageningen University and Research), and U-Today (University of Twente). The magazine came into being in collaboration with industry, and is explicitly aimed towards students who are either in the final phase of their studies, or have just graduated.
