U-Today, as independent journalistic university medium, cares a lot about your privacy. We only process data for (improving) our services, and we treat the information we have collected about you and the way you use our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp

We use MailChimp to send our email newsletters. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. You can find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email sent automatically via our website. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies to provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to make further improvements to services and, in that context, to share information with third parties.

Microsoft Outlook

We use Microsoft Outlook services for our regular corporate email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss or corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Microsoft does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic with the strictest confidence.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We only use your data for the purposes of providing our services. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than for the purpose of meeting accounting and other administrative obligations. Google Analytics

Our website places cookies from the American company Google, as part of the ‘Analytics’ service. We use this service to obtain reports and keep track of how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged to allow inspection of this data on the basis of applicable legislation and regulations. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytical information for other Google services. Our U-Today app (Android and iOS) also uses Analytics to obtain reports and keep track of how visitors use the app.
