Three student parties contend for seats

Current parties DAS, UReka and uTOP are competing in the upcoming University Council elections. In three weeks the student elections will take place, with nine seats at stake.

UReka and DAS (The Ambitious Student) have been in the University Council for years. Last year, the new party uTOP entered the fray. With success; the party for entrepreneurial and active students has one seat since last summer. UReka now has five, DAS three.

These three parties are running again in this year's elections. UReka and DAS each have fifteen candidates on paper, uTOP has three eligible students.

The student elections will take place digitally from Monday, May 31 to Friday, June 4. That Friday afternoon, the Executive Board will announce the election results.
