| Redactie

The digital archive of the university, UT Publications, has earned the ranking of top ten in the world in the area of institutional repositories, according to the Spanish Cybermetrics Lab’s Ranking of World Repositories. The UT is the only Dutch university in the top ten. UT publications started as a digital repository in 2002, allowing UT researchers to place their articles online for interested parties to view for free. Around 70 percent of scientific articles produced at the UT have been incorporated in the digital database, making for over 15,000 open access scientific publications. Open access publishing is quickly becoming more important in global academia.
