High vaccination rate among UT students and employees

More than 91% of employees and nearly 85% of all UT students have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. That is the conclusion of an anonymous survey distributed by the University of Twente last week.

The UT conducted the survey to find out to how many staff members and students are protected against COVID-19. Based on the results, which were shared in an email sent out to the UT community today, over 91% of employees and almost 85% students are protected through vaccination. These numbers will even increase in the near future, because 2.6% of students and 2.8% of staff have already received the first jab.

Although highly indicative, these conclusions might not be absolutely accurate, as not everyone filled in the survey. The response rate was 45% among employees and 33% among students. ‘While we are cautious in our conclusions given the level of response, we are extremely pleased with this outcome,’ states the UT Executive Board in the email.

Working from home en masse: technically feasible
