Should you not be familiar with the Bata concept yet, it’s short for the Batavierenrace. The Batavierenrace is a relay race for students stretching over 175 km from Nijmegen to Enschede, divided into 25 stages (17 men's stages and 8 women's stages) varying from 3.3 km to 11.2 km. Part of the race is through Germany. It’s not just all sports though. Following the race, the Benelux’ biggest student party will be organized on campus until the small hours of the night.
If you’re interested in joining the race with ESN, then sign up at their office in the Bastille (room 319) during lunch hours: 12:35-13:35. Registration costs are €15 for ESN card holders; non-members pay €20. Registration is open until March 29th.
