The new members are all assistant professors: Rob Bemthuis, Marcello Carioni, Anastasia Lavrenko, and Arlene John from the EEMCS faculty, Daniela Craciun from BMS, and Maria Carla Piastra from TNW. The network now consists of around thirty early-career academics, as well as a growing list of alumni.
Following a recently revised selection procedure, candidates no longer need to have secured a prestigious grant. Academic quality and a proactive attitude, however, remain important factors in the admission process.
