The short online module, a so-called 'e‑learning', is available through the digital learning environment Canvas. It takes roughly twenty minutes to complete.
It covers a range of topics related to DE&I: how UT defines diversity, equity, and inclusion within its own context; the role of behaviour and policy; which initiatives and networks are already in place; and where staff can find support or additional training. The content is presented through several short videos, textual explanation and multiple‑choice questions.
The e‑learning originated from a proposal submitted to the UT‑wide Incentive Fund. Several UT employees then worked together to develop and offer the course. An evaluation will follow in a few months’ time.
