No Create Tomorrow in 2024

Once again, no committee to organise student think tank Create Tomorrow was found. The event will therefore not take place in 2024, the Student Union decided.

Student Union chairman Xander Bon cites two reasons for cancelling the event. 'We were unable to find a board. In addition, the UT's financial situation also impacts the Student Union, which is why there is no alternative way to organise Create Tomorrow.'

In short, no organising committee and no financial possibilities. 'That is very unfortunate and also pains me to say,' notes Bon. 'This year's edition was a great success. For visibility and fuelling entrepreneurship, this is an important event.'

Create Tomorrow did not go on in 2022 either because a committee could not be found. SU chairman Bon acknowledges reduced 'organisational interest', but does not speak of a trend. 'Student activism is something that needs attention. I assume there will be another edition in 2025. That ambition is definitely there.'

Create Tomorrow is in het voorjaar van 2023 terug van weggeweest. De studentendenktank stond na drie jaar van fysieke afwezigheid en een gebrek aan nieuwe bestuurders op losse schroeven. Create Tomorrow returns after three years of physical absence

Create Tomorrow will return in the spring of 2023. The student think tank was in jeopardy after three years of physical absence and a lack of new committee members. Peter Dieleman (20), a technical medicine student, rises up to the challenge and hopes to revive old times.
