Sylvia Butzke was nominated for the position by the University Council of the UT. Her appointment was confirmed by the Minister of Education, Culture and Science. On the Supervisory Board, she will replace Clémence van Ross – van Dorp, whose term will end.
Butzke is currently Chief Operating Officer at PGGM Investments. Before that, she worked as Division Director at DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank). She is originally from Germany and studied Applied Physics in Berlin and Delft and got her MBA at Kellogg.
