Enschede’s city center transforms into a large open air ‘restaurant’ from Friday 2 September until Sunday 4 September. During the Proef Eet (Taste Eat) event more than 30 restaurants offer visitors the opportunity to taste their food at market stalls for just a couple of Euros. Other attractions include fashion shows, street performances, wine tasting of products made in Twente, typical Dutch smoked ham and cheeses, a 50 meter-long wall of fresh fruit for on- the- spot smoothies and an exotic cocktail bar.
