His brief speech takes place in the context of several other activities organized for the Germans on that day, including a think tank exercise and drinks in the evening in the Pakkerij located in the city center. During the think tank exercise, German students will solve several cases linked to integration and student life on campus. In the Pakkerij, UT student associations will introduce themselves to the German students.

UT Rector Brinksma will formally greet and welcome 168 incoming German students that currently attend the Dutch intensive course on Wednesday 13 July at 1:30pm. The course is organized by the Language Coordination Point Centre for students to enter UT Bachelor courses in September.
