Participating athletes, who come from all over the world, run in the full marathon a distance of 21 km or two times through the course. A CityRun, Kidsrun, Fitrun and other running events also take place that same day. Over 100,000 spectators are expected, alongside bands, orchestras and various other activities along the route.
