Have you ever considered injecting Botox to improve your looks? The Twentsewelle museum’s current exhibition, ‘Better than God’, is running until 28 February in Enschede. It examines the arguments for and against cosmetic surgery. Can giving in to the temptation to make yourself more beautiful happen at the expense of being ‘real’ or ‘authentic’? You will be confronted with the extremes of aging and the affects of cosmetic surgery. On display, visitors can view spectacular new developments being made by the University of Twente in medical technology, such as the ‘cultivated nose’. Take a moment during your visit to receive a digital photograph of your face, but then 20 to 30 years older.
