Exotic Java

The Indonesian Students Association (PPIE) presents an art and cultural afternoon, ‘Indonesian Day, Exploring the Exotic Java’, on Saturday 4 December from 1pm to 5:30pm in the Bastille atrium. Boosting the 13th largest island in the world, Java is made up of a chain of volcanic mountains where the Dutch East India Company established its trading in the capital city of Jakarta. PPIE members will share with visitors Java’s exotic culture with traditional dances and music, a live band, games and workshops, and fragrant Indonesian food.
