Pluto changes to a redder shade
Recent photographs released by NASA reveal the planet Pluto is changing to a redder shade by 20 percent in comparison to the past few decades. When weighing its sudden change to other planets in the solar system, its recent alterations come as a surprise to many scientists. On Pluto’s surface, the pictures show growing and shrinking nitrogen ice levels that are shifting in size and density in puzzling ways. The dwarf planet circles around the sun every 248 years, leaving astronomers in the dark about what the conditions are when it’s farthest from the sun.
