ICP = Instant Composers Pool. In the early sixties, pianist Misha Mengelberg wondered what jazz would sound like if an entire orchestra composed music out of the blue? Chances are high such an experiment would end in cacophony. To Mengelberg, a structured mess is the highest attainable.
