Like last year the University of Twente is again first on the ranking in the Higher Education Guide 2002/2003. The lead on the competition has even grown a little compared to last year. Maastricht is second, Eindhoven third and Delft closes the ranks.
'The University of Twente has strong science and techical programmes, as well as surprisingly high score in a number of social sciences courses, like educational science, communication and public administration', according the Higher Education Press (HOP), which compiles the guide each year on the basis of student opinion.
