The start of a new academic year also marks the start of a new cultural season at the UT. Starting the end of September the Vrijhof Cultural Center will once again organize courses on plastic arts, photography, music, dance and theater.
Specific courses range from creative welding and woodcarving to carillon playing and Qigong. Two new courses were also introduced: investing and art appreciation. The latter course offers students insight into the social and historical background of works of art.
The courses are open to all students and university employees. Most of the courses take place in the Vrijhof. While Dutch is the primary language, non-Dutch speakers are also welcome.
Information and Registration, September 2-6, central hall Vrijhof, 12 - 2 pm.
