Capoeira is a Brasilian fight dance, accompanied by rhythm and singing. Originally from Africa this dance was brought to Brasil by slaves and developed to a fighting art to escape slavery. Today it is a beautiful show in which two players challenge each other to a special fighting game. The audience sing and make music on the DjembÚ and Pandeiros (tambourine). The main instrument, the Berimbau, determines the rhythm of the game.
