This month the Alliance Francaise Twente fetes its 90th birthday. Since 1911 the organization has functioned socially, culturally, and economically as a link between the Netherlands and its neighbor, France. To celebrate its anniversary and in conjunction with the Universiteit Twente's 40th birthday, AFT will host a program on November 14 highlighting the ever-evolving relationship between France and the Netherlands. The lingua franca will be Dutch.
