International Market

Enschede is a colorfully multicultural city with inhabitants hailing from far-reaching corners of the world. At the ITC alone, students and employees represent about 80 different countries. The third annual International Market aims to allow Enschede’s residents to become better acquainted with each other’s varying cultures of origin.

Currently nine different cultural groups are scheduled to participate: Italian, Armenian, African, Moroccan, Surinamese, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Twents. The groups will offer dance performances, traditional music, mouth-watering culinary delicacies, and authentic arts and crafts. In addition to the designated cultural associations, vendors will peddle unique wares such as English porcelain, Italian leather, French garlic, and Spanish paella.
