When the days get shorter and the weather becomes wetter, many changes begin to occur in nature, especially in the local Twente landscape.
The municipality of Enschede, together with the Association for Nature and the Environment (IVN), will offer a guided walk through the Abraham Ledeboer Park, next to the university, on October 11.
Students and staff can join in the excursion at 2pm at the visitors center Lammerinkswönner, where experienced nature guides will lead groups on an hour and a half walk through the park to identify specific species of mushrooms. Participation in the walk is free and no advanced registration is necessary.
