Student mobility fair

Research studies conducted on student mobility reveals graduates who study or intern abroad find it easier to secure jobs and earn a higher average starting salary. The Platform for International Student Associations (PITS) and International Office will co-host the Let's Go student mobility fair. The event takes place on the campus exhibition grounds on Wednesday, November 18. Highlighting the possibilities to study abroad and participate in internship programs, representatives from international partner universities, foreign embassies and academic faculties will be on hand to answer questions. The free event will feature information sessions, cultural activities and close with an international food festival and party.

Spinoza- en Stevinpremies voor topwetenschappers uit Leiden, Nijmegen, Groningen en Amsterdam

Fewer grants for study associations: ‘A worrying development’

Study associations are concerned about a sharp drop in the number of board grants available for the upcoming academic year. Student party UReka and the Umbrella of Study Associations have therefore raised the alarm. ‘This poses a risk to activism at UT.’

Tentamens UT gaan door zoals gepland, ondanks code rood

In grote delen van het land is het deze vrijdag ‘code rood’ vanwege de hitte. Tentamens op de UT gaan volgens planning door. Wel schrapt de universiteit buitenevenementen en adviseert om alleen te reizen als dat noodzakelijk is.

TG-alumna bouwt bruggen tussen zorgprofessionals

Nicole Rommens studeerde in 2017 af bij technische geneeskunde. Als een van de weinige TG-alumni koos ze voor het ondernemerschap. Ze is mede-eigenaar van adviesbureau ‘Room to…’, dat zorgorganisaties ondersteunt bij innovatieve oplossingen.
