NewsOn Wednesday, UT released a statement on artificial intelligence. The university neither bans nor actively promotes the use of AI. Instead, it calls for a collective effort to explore responsible applications.
NewsDe UT scherpt vanaf 3 november de toegangsregels voor Teams-vergaderingen aan, om ongewenste deelname van AI-bots zoals Fireflies te voorkomen. Externe deelnemers komen voortaan eerst in de ‘lobby’ terecht, waarna UT’ers ze pas kunnen toelaten tot de vergadering.
NewsFrom 3 November, the UT will tighten the access rules for Teams meetings to prevent unwanted participation by AI bots such as Fireflies. From now on, external participants will first enter the 'lobby', after which only UT employees admit them to the meeting.
