Kick-in reloaded

Many students still remember their Kick-in. It was summer time, a lot of fun, new friends and new experiences. This week will be kept in mind for the rest of the life.
In August 2012 it is time again, a lot of new students from the Netherlands and from all over the world will “looking forward” to a great week, followed by a great student life. “Looking forward” is the theme of this year’s kick-in. Students of the same study program will be divided in so called do-groups, with which they are going to spend the whole week, comparable to a family. Everybody knows that families need parents. Therefore older students on the one hand have the chance to experience a second Kick-in from the perspective of a parent and on the other hand they will help new students to get to know the University of Twente as well as the city of Enschede.
There are different kinds of do-groups. Free do-groups can subscribe by their study association, student association do-groups can subscribe at Fact and sports- and culture do-groups can subscribe at the Sportraad.
