Are you enthusiastic for classical music? Sinfonietta Aurora, the new professional chamber orchestra, consisting of music enthusiast from the Netherlands, wants to take you on a musical voyage and let you experience the great sound of their music.
The orchestra consists of musicians from the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, led by concertmaster Peter Bogaert.
The topic of the concert is the experimental dealing with contrasts between young and old, art and industry, watching and listening, unfamiliar and familiar as well as classical and modern.
Sinfonietta Aurora will present a diverse program of pieces by Mendelssohn and some Scandinavian artists for instance Carl Nielsen and Edvard Grieg.
The concert will take place Monday, the 16thof April, 12:35 – 13:35 in the Agora of the Vrijhof.
