New member University Council

The University Council has a new member. From today onwards, Hidde Terpoorten from university student party UReka will replace Mirte van Geloven as student representative in the council. Unforeseen personal circumstances forced van Geloven to cancel her seat. Terpoorten is not new to the job: he already represented UReka in the council during the academic year 2007-2008. In the academic year following he became chairman of the Interstedelijk Studenten Overleg, a national organization representing the interests of over 630.000 students in higher education.
