Future of campus

On Thursday 27 October, an international conference devoted to the theme 'Discover the Future of the Campus' will be organized, focusing on the phenomenon and future of campus universities. Former Stanford University architect David Neuman will zoom in on the original philosophies underlying the campus model while Dr. Paul Benneworth will emphasize the ways in which universities mirror society. Other speakers include Adriaan Geuze, landscape architect, Ton Schaap, city planner, and Professor Martin de Jong from TU Delft. The program starts at 9:30am and takes place in the Spiegel building. The conference is organized by Studium Generaleand sponsored by the UT's Lustrum Committee.
