Change & resilient societies

The Institute for Innovation and Governance Studies holds a conference on 'resilient societies - governing risk and vulnerability' from 19 - 21 October 2011. The conference addresses how the risks of climate change, water shortages and rising energy requirements can be tackled by societies through appropriate governance mechanisms. The sessions will have various formats, from plenary sessions with key note speakers to workshops, debates, poster sessions and open-space discussions.
