Lecture: The Future of Nanotechnology

| Redactie

Nanotechnology is a promising technology; in the invisible realm of about 1-100 nanometers scientists manipulate molecules and create new materials which can be used in chemistry, biology, and medicine. Though the scale may be miniscule, the possibilities and consequences are huge. One of the world's most eminent nanoresearchers - professor Chad Mirkin - reflects on the future possibilities of nanotechnology and also deconstructs nano science-fiction.

Professor Chad Mirkin is professor of Chemistry, Material Science & Engineering, and Medicine. He is the Director of the Institute for Nanotechnology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in the United States.
