The UT Awards are meant to be playful, Tessa Vos of Apollo explains, `Students can nominate each other through an online form. They can also vote on-line. The results will be announced at the opening of the party. The prizes will remain a surprise.'
After the award ceremony in the Agora, there will be dancing with a DJ on the Bastille lawn. The Vrijhof Theatercafe will host a performance by The Skabadivers and the Vestingbar will have the student band Duck 4 Cover. The idea to end the academic year in a festive, relaxed manner with beer and music was formed last year at Apollo. Vos: `That party was a great success with 1200 visitors. That is why we are throwing another one this year.' Admission is free and the party is sure to continue through the wee hours.. Nominating and voting can be done through www.utwente.nl/eindfeest.
