A visitation committee led by Leuven Professor Rudolf Maes issued a positive report assessing the quality of the Public Administration and Public Policy bachelor's and master's programs of the faculty of Business & Technology. The committee feels the faculty has responded to developments in the field and has built an international reputation with its programs. Similar programs in the Netherlands are following Twente's lead.

The visitation committee examined both the four-year program and the new three-year bachelor's and one-year master's programs. The point of reference was the framework of accreditation organization NVAO. All of the academic public administration and public policy programs were deemed adequate. Twente shares its top evaluation with Tilburg. No master's program similar to Twente's Public Administration and European Studies programs comes close in quality. Bas Denters, professor in metropolitan policy and since September 1st director of the public administration and public policy programs, is obviously very satisfied with the committee's report.
