8:15 pm: La Primavera, Del Olvido

The winner of the Culture Sandwich Public Award 2004-2005, the flamenco group La Primavera is back with a new and surprising show, offering an evening of beautiful and pure flamenco. Del Olvido (`from oblivion') is built around old songs and nearly forgotten dances, such as `Canasteras, ` `Garrotín' and `Milonga.'

UT-enquêtes mogen alleen nog via CrowdTech

Eén centrale tool om enquêtes te maken, verspreiden en te analyseren. Vanaf 1 september geldt de Nederlandse aanbieder CrowdTech als standaard voor de hele UT. Andere vragenlijstsoftware wordt niet meer ondersteund.

One central tool for creating, distributing and analysing surveys: from 1 September, the Dutch provider CrowdTech will be the standard for the entire University of Twente. Other survey software will no longer be supported.

Lecturers at the University of Twente (UT) are generally open to using AI, but many do not know how to do so effectively. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by UT researchers Mohammadreza Farrokhnia, Alieke van Dijk and Saba Soleimani. They surveyed seventy lecturers and five programme directors.

Australische winter extra uitdaging voor Solar Team Twente

Solar Team Twente maakt zich in het Australische Darwin op voor de start van de Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, die op 24 augustus van start gaat. Volgens teamlid Jesse van Dijk is er vertrouwen in de zonneauto en een topklassering. ‘We willen alles uit ons team en de auto halen.’
