Betty Collis awarded

The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) has awarded Professor Betty Collis with a `best practice award.' She received the award for her cooperation with the learning group of Shell Exploration and Production. Collis has been a professor of networked learning at the UT since 1997 and Shell Professor of Networked Learning since 2000. She is internationally renowned as an e-learning

Collis has been a professor of networked learning at the UT since 1997 and Shell Professor of Networked Learning since 2000. She is internationally renowned as an e-learning expert and has managed to create optimal forms of blended learning for Shell. For this project, Collis used Teletop, which was developed at the UT under her management.

The UT professor will receive the award in June, at a conference in Orlando, Florida.

De verdeling van studentenzetels in de Uraad blijft dit jaar weer onveranderd: drie zetels voor DAS, zes voor UReka. Met een stempercentage van 23,68 procent was de opkomst onder studenten dit jaar iets lager dan voorgaande jaren. Secretaris van de universiteit Susanne Wichman maakte vrijdagmiddag op het podium voor de Zilverling de uitslagen bekend.
