Michel Pilz Trio

| Redactie

The Michel Pilz Trio, renowned in international progressive jazz circles, will perform on November 29. German/Luxembourgian Michel Pilz plays bass clarinet; he is accompanied by Christian Ramond on bass and Klaus Kugel on percussion. Since the late sixties, Pilz has been dedicating himself exclusively to the bass clarinet, which has a remarkable, penetrating timbre that can produce almost hypnotizing effects, especially in a room like the Vrijhof Amphitheater. This is a great opportunity to hear some top-notch European jazz in Enschede as well as to hear a beautiful but rare instrument played expertly.

Monday 29 November, Vrijhof Amphitheater, 8:15 pm. EUR 5/ EUR 3 Union+, CJP, Epas
