The idiom of modern music is incorporated into the structures of dance, ambient and drum `n bass. The jazz sound of Eric Vloeimans enriches the ensemble. The result is fresh, exciting and danceable.

Broodje Cultuur presents Duo Vertigo performing `Body Elemental,' compositions featuring the use of every aspect of one's body. Audiences of all ages are exposed to new concepts related to percussion and how everyone can make music. Complementing Duo Vertigo is Spanish clarinetist Carlos Gálvez-Taroncher, who uses his instrument to create crazy screeching noises, reminiscent of the human voice. Whether through the composers' use of syllables, poetry or pre-recorded pick-up lines, audiences find aspects of every day life to relate to.
