The event will be held from July 27 until July 29 at the UT with at least 200 gamers, making it the biggest LAN party in Enschede. There is enough capacity for a maximum of 300 gamers. There will also be a 1 gigabyte upload connection, a backbone of 1 gigabyte and a 100 megabyte port.
The entrance fee for the LAN party is only 25.50 euros if you sign up before July 11, or 30 euros if you sign up afterwards. Plus, you can opt to use the catering facilities of the UT student restaurant: 30 euros for two breakfasts, three lunches and three dinners.
This is a pilot project: depending on various factors, we want to expand the LAN party to other student cities. We are planning to organize a LAN party every two months in a different student city in 2005/2006.
