The interest in a function in the TAB is only minimal in the last few years. However, since the facilities package of PhD-students was reduced, the interest is increasing somewhat, according to Barsema.

The Twents Aio Beraad, the UT organisation looking after the interests of PhD-students, is looking for a new chairperson. Jon Barsema, who lead the TAB until now received his PhD-degree a few weeks ago and will be leaving the UT. I am talking to a few people', Barsema says. `I am hopeful of success.'
