Jazz in the Vrijhof

This Monday saxophone player Carlos Ward will perform on campus with the Carlos Lowlands Trio. Ward was born in Panama, but grew up in the USA. He developed into a superior alto saxophone player who can give a relatively accessible, almost bluesy, feel to progressive, often considered 'difficult' (free-)jazz. Ward visits us with a rhythm-section from Amsterdam: Wilbert de Joode and Michael Vatcher
