Gerard Sanderink, head of the IT-company Centric, put the first assignment on the Studenten Kennisportal (Student Knowledge Portal) of the Student Union, at the Twente Business Meeting in the Expocentre in Hengelo.
Via the Student Knowledge Portal (www.studentenkennisportal.nl), which has been operating officially since November 16, companies can come into contact with students and student businesses and hire them for scientific research, internships or, for instance, to make a website.
Sanderink, a UT-graduate, wants to know whether the current culture and structure of Centric is suitable for extension all over Europe. `I am helping him refine the research questions,' says Amarins Wolters, an SKP representative. `It will be a kind of market research. There are about three student business that may be able to answer the question satisfactorily.'
