Indian New Year celebration

The UT Indian Students Association, jointly with Faculty Club and P-NUT, will celebrate the Indian New Year Sarvajit Naama Samvatsara. They warmly welcome all interested UTers to attend. Festivities begin in the Bastille Atrium with a presentation about the significance of the Indian New Year. Rector Zijm and the honorable Minister from the Indian Embassy will also address guests. Authentic entertainment will include Hindustani classical music performed by Darshan Kumari and Shittal Dixit interpreting traditional Kathak dance. The evening will culminate with a special Indian dinner served in the Faculty Club, complete with regional delicacies.
