Up in the sky

`Sky-Watch' is the name of a spectacular attraction that will be on campus during the Batavierenrace. It's a platform with 24 seats that is hoisted up to a height of forty meters. You can see the campus and the Batavierenrace from up in the sky. Sky-Watch is free and is located near the Bastille on Sunday, April 28. From 3 pm until midnight it will possible to take a `ride' on the attraction.

During the evening, the 35th Batavierenfeest will rock the campus. At different locations, bands will perform and various activities will take place:

Pepsi-tent: Deltawerken, Frank Bouwmeester's band.
Union Bastille: Dance party with renowned DJs.
Union Café het Groene Flesje: DJ Rooie Rinus and bingo.
Theatercafé: The Groove Phenomenon.
Vrijhof Agora: Tante Dinie's Swingpaleis.
Canteen Sportcentrum: Duck4cover.
Boulevard: Open Air Disco.

On the artificial grass behind the Bastille: the famous Silent Disco will be located, where a thousand digital headphones are available to go wild. BreakEven, the UT's breakdance association, will perform here. A lounge is located on the field in front of the Vrijhof.
