DAYS OF THE ROOMBEEK

| Redactie

In May of 2000, a firework factory exploded in the Roombeek district and destroyed 43 hectares of Enschede and took many lives. Today this district has been completely rebuilt and shines as a beacon of architectural and urban quality. For three days, the district will be dedicated to showcasing urban planning and architecture. On June 19, 20 and 21, the public will be able to see the results of town planners and architects. The event is organized by the city of Enschede, Medialab and Architectuurcentrum Twente Enschede.
