Dr. YoungHee Hur, a Korean researcher, has won the Jablin Dissertation 2010 Award for her thesis titled, ‘Optimizing Managerial Effectiveness Through Emotional Intelligence’. She defended her thesis last spring under the supervision of Professor Celeste Wilderom in the School of Management and Governance. As a prize winner, she will attend the ILA Conference in Boston to present her findings and receive the award from Dean Sandra Peart of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the end of October.
