On Tuesday the court in Almelo sentenced Hugo B., who set fire to the TWRC-Building a year ago, to three years in prison and TBS with conditions. This means that he will serve a prison sentence before an indefinite period of treatment. In this the judges followed the advice of the Pieter Baan Centre that conducted a psychiatric evaluation of the perpetrator, and were milder than the prosecutionÆs demand of 5 years imprisonment and a more severe form of TBS.
