The club will be advising the cabinet on the course leading to a revival of the Netherlands as knowledge economy. The emphasis will, amongst others, be on boosting the inflow of technology and science students. If this is not realised the Netherlands will be increasingly out of step in Europe. And that does not fit the EU-plans agreed on in Lisbon not long ago.
