Which student would not like to live in a nice little farmhouse on campus? The Russian Maria Kholopova, a Russian PhD-student from the faculty BBT, can consider herself lucky. She is the first foreign student to move into Erve Holzik.

Part of Erve Holzik has been modified to offer accommodation to five foreign students, also providing them with a large bathroom, kitchen and a joint living room.

Student accommodation provider Acasa entered into a five-year contract with the UT Facility Department. In the past months a great deal of hard work was needed to get the rooms in order. As the official opening is on 1 September, Maria moved in two weeks early and therefore has to do without a kitchen. 'How I manage to do that? Cup-a-soup and bread!', she says laughing.
