Again entrepreneurship is rewarded. Female entrepreneurship in this case. In addition to the general entrepreur's prize (named after former rector Harry van den Kroonenberg), the UT-university fund (Universiteitsfonds) has set up the Marina van Damme-prize.
Marina van Damme (72) studied in Delft and was in Twente the first women to receive a PhD-degree. She will make five thousand euros available each year for five years for a starting female entrepreneur with links to the UT.
