To celebrate their 30th anniversary, the Vocal Ensemble of Drienerlo (DVE), in cooperation with the school of music and an ensemble, will perform the opera Dido and Aeneas by Purcell. This opera tells the story of the love between Dido, queen of Carthago, and the Trojan hero Aeneas, a story about the choice between love and duty. The lesser known prologue to the opera will also be performed and storyteller Wim Wolbrink will give an exciting introduction to the opera, in which he will put the story in a wider context.
